28 Weeks and Florida Vacation

Wow!  Time is flying by fast!  I can't believe that it is almost over and Piper is almost here!  I still have so much to do and I feel like I am running out of time.  We (Jonathan) are almost done with dry walling the nursery.  It should be ready to paint next week.  I have the bedding ordered.  Here is a picture........

I have decided to do all pinks, white, and greys.  I'm doing one wall pink and the other three grey.  We have the crib still in the box.  We picked up the rocking chair last weekend and are picking up the dresser this weekend.  That is all the major furniture. I am ready to get it all in the room.  Now all I have to get is a rug, a lamp, and accessories!  Whew!  Doing a complete room from scratch is hard work!  I am so excited about how I think it is going to look.  I just can't wait until it is all complete.  

I have the sweetest friends!  I am having two showers.  My awesome friends Cristie, Latricia, and Andi are throwing me a shower in Batesville at the end of June.  My best friends from high school, Kara, Hannah, Melanie, Leslie, Mary Fran, and my sister are throwing me a shower in Wynne in July.  I am so blessed and thankful for them all and don't know what I would do without them. 

We went on vacation to Florida last week.  Traveling 13+ hours in a car and being 27 weeks pregnant is not fun!  Not to mention having to stop and pee every hour or hour and a half.  We had a great time.  I will say that being a beach bum isn't nearly as fun without being able to drink adult beverages!  HA!  Jonathan was so sweet.  Beach chairs are very low to the ground.  With that being said, my big butt had a hard time getting up out of my chair.  Jonathan helped me up and down like a gentleman.  Also, I didn't know that seafood was SO high in sodium and that my feet and ankles would swell twice their size!  Jonathan drove almost all the way home.  He made me sit with my feet elevated the whole way home.  ;)  Luckily, when I woke up the next morning, my feet were back to normal.  Here are a few pictures from our trip.....

I went to the Dr. yesterday and everything looks great.  Piper's heartbeat was 136.  Dr. Glasgow said that was normal.  Jonathan I have our child birth class on June 8th and then I am going to a breastfeeding class in July.  The more educated the better!  LOL  I am getting anxious and excited about it all.  With only 12 weeks left and knowing I am now in my 3rd trimester, it all becomes a little overwhelming.  I know it will be here before I know it.  Here are my 28 week pictures.......
